We would like to thank Pat Vigilio, Mark Lambert and the entire Baseball U CT staff for helping our sons to develop as athletes and young men.

Baseball U helped our boys to successfully pursue and achieve their goal of playing baseball at the collegiate level at Amherst and Williams colleges. Without any hesitation, we would recommend Baseball U to any family looking for a program to help develop their son into the best student-athlete that they can become and to receive honest, constructive and useful feedback. If you live in the Northeast, Baseball U CT is the organization to join!

#UFam is not just a hashtag for Baseball U CT. It is a guiding principal that Pat Vigilio and his team of coaches use to teach life lessons to young men through baseball. Our son, Max, spent five years learning from Pat, Mark and all the coaches and players through many hours on the field and in the cages in development sessions. This dedication to baseball skill and character development is the "secret sauce" of Baseball U CT. Purposefully selected tournaments and BBU sponsored showcases enabled Max and his teammates to test themselves and their training only when they were ready. Max also had the opportunity to try out for the BBU National Team roster. With coaching from John Wells and others, Max played in national tournaments with some of the best players in the Northeast through BBU affiliate organizations in NJ, PA, and NY. Max was able to develop and grow because he was surronded by a supportive UFam.

Max signed his National Letter of Intent and just received his letter of admission from the University of Virginia. Pat and Baseball U CT are wholly responsible for the development, exposure and constant support (in and out of the playing season) that enabled Max to achieve his goal of getting the opportunity to study and play at UVA. Max trusted the process and his BBU CT family. We will always be thankful to our UFam.

Amity Regional HS - UCONN
Baseball U is an outstanding baseball program that above is all about developing players and helping them maximize their potential. The coaches are experienced and always put players' best interests first. The quality of the practices was a big reason Pat decided to play for Baseball U CT prior to his senior season. While Pat already knew where he was going to school, he wanted to make sure that when he got to UCONN that he would be physically and mentally ready to contribute right away. The Baseball U CT practices helped him toward that goal. The practices are scheduled in such a way as to make sure that players are always engaged and always working toward improving all aspects of their game. Coach Vigilio is extremely knowledgeable, and as a teacher is able to effectively convey that knowledge to his players. He goes the extra mile in helping his players toward their goal of playing baseball in college, both by improving their skills and by providing exposure to college programs and coaches. It is clear that Coach Vigilio runs the team with the goal of helping his players go on to successful college baseball careers rather than to simply win tournaments. Pat will always feel like a part of the Baseball U CT family.

Staples HS - UNC
When it came time for Ben to enter high school, we wanted him to play for a well-regarded, college developmental AAU program. That organization was Baseball U, led by its director Pat Vigilio. It is a terrific program that provides players the opportunity to further develop their baseball skills, learn the right way to play the game, and carry themselves with dignity and respect. I can't say enough good things about the coaching staff and the time and commitment they make to the players and having them compete at a high level. Pat, Mark Lambert and the rest of the organization know baseball, and know how to impart their knowledge on the boys and help them maximize their potential. We were very fortunate that Ben was part of the program and played for Baseball U to prepare him for the next level. Pat has been a wonderful mentor to Ben and pushed him to be his best, as an athlete and a person, and was instrumental in the college recruiting process. Thank you for everything you guys did for him.

Baseball U CT is an organization that is committed to developing a player to his fullest potential. With an emphasis on hard work and personal integrity, players learn from coaches who know what is required to play ball at the next level. Baseball U CT gave my son (Eddie) the opportunity to play very competitive ball, in front of scouts and college coaches, ultimately gaining him offers to play at Division 1 schools. The work ethic instilled at Baseball U CT, has helped him to see success on the diamond at Georgetown Univesity.
Father of Nick Mondak - 2016
Watertown HS - St. Johns
To all the families considering Baseball U. I would like to share my experience with the program. Two years ago my family was faced with the same decisions you are about to make. As a family, we discussed the time committment, economic and travel concerns associated with a program of this kind. Ultimatley, we decided this was the best opportunity and we committed to Baseball U. I could not be happier or more satisfied with the coaching and professionalism of the staff in CT and NJ. All the coaches were such a help to our family. Baseball U was very honesty and respectful when it came to Nick's ability and educational concens. They didnt tell us what "we wanted to hear" like most other programs out there. As a parent that was very refreshing. Without Baseball U's help, my son Nick would not be where he is today. This program opened up many opportunities for him and has allowed him to continue his baseball career at St. Johns University. The hard work, maturity and responsibility that is required from the coaches is what made my son a better player. At Baseball U your son will play some of the best competition in the country and will give you a taste of what its like to compete at the next level. It will also give your son the guidance he needs to keep moving forward. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who is serious about thier baseball career. Pat thank you for everything you have done for Nick. We are truly grateful.
Father of Jeffrey Sharnick - 2017
Stratford HS - Dean College
I want to say thank you to all the coaches in the Baseball U CT organization for giving Jeff the opportunity to play for Baseball U CT and for coaching/working with him to become the player he is today. Thank you for helping him achieve his dream of playing college baseball. We are very grateful to you all for helping him to this point.
Father of Shawn Blake - 2014
Fairfield Prep - Elon
I can't tell you how pleased we were with Baseball U. We really were not sure what to expect from your organization when Shawn joined. At the meeting you were very clear on your program and how you were not interested in winning trophies but more interested in finding great competition and tournamnets that would test the skills of the team and prepare them to play in college. The three years that were spent at Baseball U were a true learning experience not just for Shawn as a player but for us as parents also. I never knew the recruiting process could be so hard. You were instrumental in getting Shawn the workouts that he needed at major schools around the country and now he plays division 1 baseball at Elon University in North Carolina after offers from many other schools. As you may know I always recommend young players that wish to play in college to contact Baseball U and consider your program. Its great how you form lasting relationships with your players. Thanks again, it has been a great experience.
Parents of Charlie Hoover - 2017
Fairfield Prep - Union
Baseball U CT was a great experience for our son Charlie. Pat and the coaching staff are truly committed to developing the players. They identified the specific skills that Charlie needed to work on to be a pitcher at the college level. Baseball U CT puts a strong emphasis on academics. They coaches frequently reminded the boys that grades/schoolwork were a priority. We also appreciated the fact that the program was very organized. Pat lets parents know about dates/tournaments/practice locations weeks in advance. This is very helpful for busy families! Pat is accessible, and always picks up his phone. He's willing to talk and give advice both in and out of season. We can't say enough about the positive experience Charlie had with Baseball U CT.
Father of Nolan Long - 2012
Waterford HS - Wagner
My son Nolan Long, was virtually an unknown 16 year old pitcher, when Pat Vigilio of Baseball U CT saw him pitch by accident, while Pat was a scout for the San Fransisco Giants. Baseball U CT taught him how to reach his potentila as a pitcher. Taught him enough to be selected two years later in the 2012 MLB amatuer draft. He is presently pitching for thr Dodgers AA affiliate in Tulsa, OK. Nolan and I know Baseball U CT was his start in becomming the pitcher he is today. We have the utmost respect for Pat and the Baseball U CT family.
