Winter Workouts: 
 
Any player that is not a member of Baseball U CT, but is interested in developmental workouts, please email us directly, before registering for any program. Thank you!
 
As in the past, these workouts are highly recommend for any player that is a part of the Baseball U CT summer program.
 
Baseball U CT's Tuesday Night Winter Workouts (Grade 7-12)
 
These developmental workouts are for grade player’s grade 7- 12. These workouts allow for flexibility in the high players schedule during the winter season.
Players can still:
  • A) participate with their high school team
  • B) attend showcases on the weekends
  • C) play a winter sport
  • D) concentrate on school activities without worrying about multiple night training night schedule. 

Instructors:

Mark Lambert, Baseball U CT's Director of Player Development, will be our lead instructor. 
Additional Baseball U CT certified teaching staff will be on hand to instruct player's with developing both their primary position and instruct them with new positions.
Guest instructors will be in attendance over the 10 week development program.

Workout details:
 
  • Players can participate in 10 Tuesday night instructional workouts. 
  • All pitchers will be on pitch counts, be limited and monitored by our teaching staff.
  • Each instructional Tuesday will be for 1.5 hours.
  • Players are responsible to wear shorts, wear baseball pants, hats, turfs or sneakers.
  • Players should bring their own water or sports drink.
  • Player will use wood bats for proper training to be utilized.
  • Catchers should bring their own gear.

Tuesday's only (Jan 7,14,21,28) (Feb 4,11, 18, 25) (March 3,10)  
Program fee for Baseball U CT players and alumni:
$1,000.00 Player fee for Part 1 or Part 2 on Tues 15hrs/ $66.67 an hr 
$1,500 Player fee for Part 1 and Part 2 on Tues: 30hrs/$50.00 an hr

Baseball U CT's Thursday Night Winter Clinic (Grade 7-12)
 
These developmental clinics are for grade 7 players-12 graders.

Hitting Clinic:

These sessions will be limited to 15 players per session 
Players are limited to one hitting session per player. 
Players will have a chance to work on approaches to hitting (mental/physical), in games adjustments, creating a proper swing path, and bunting.


Pitcher/Catcher Clinic:

This session is for pitchers to work on their mechanics, proper arm care, and core development and conditioning. 
Pitcher throwing will be monitored by our teaching staff.
Catchers will work on receiving, blocking, framing and flexibility.

7:00pm-8:00pm (Open Hitting Clinic 2)
8:00pm-9:00pm (Open Hitting Clinic 3)
8:00pm-9:00pm (Pitcher/Catcher Clinic 4)
